TRANSLATION:

Dear Keith,

Through this letter I want to thank you for all you have done for me.

Because of the winter, which already started, it is cold in Pennsylvania (America) and Pittsburgh, while on Okinawa it still will be warm. I hope you spend your days in good health. I want to thank you for the material and moral support you gave me, and for the fact that you showed to me how beautiful and blessful the relationship between a teacher and student can be. Because of you I arrived savely in Pennsylvania. America is a nice and wonderful country. Strange to know that at the moment you stay on Okinawa.

I hope you spend your days in health and happiness.

Until a next letter.
